Snorkelling (with your mask, snorkel and flippers) is fast becoming one of the most popular sub-aqua pursuits, thanks to its simplicity; all you need to do is to stay on the surface and look down to see all of the underwater delights of the Capo Caccia/Isola Piana Marine Protected Area.

You can marvel at fish of varies different species and colours, as well as starfish, urchins, octopuses and crabs; moreover, thanks to the recent publication by the Capo Caccia/Isola Piana Marine Protected Area of a booklet entitled “Discovering the Semi-Submerged Caves”, we can visit twenty different places within the caves (on the surface) with no safety risk and no requirement for a licence.
